Dallas Cowboys lose heartbreaker to Los Angeles Rams
The Dallas Cowboys hosted the Los Angeles Rams in Arlington this past Sunday night. It was the tale of two halves as the Cowboys during the first half were up as many as 11. That all came crashing down as the Rams came storming back with 19 second half points to win 35-34. This dropped the Cowboys to (2-2) on the year and bumps the Rams to (3-1). The Cowboys had a good showing on offense compiling 251 passing yards and rushing for another 189 but could not get it done on defense as they let the Rams come away with nine scoring drives. Key players of this game were Joseph Goff (LA QB) who threw for 255 yards and two touchdowns, Todd Gurley (LA RB)who had 225 all purpose yards and a touchdown, and Greg Zuerlein (LA K) who made seven field goals on seven attempts. The Cowboys will move on to face the Green Bay Packers at home next Sunday while the Los Angeles Rams travel back home to host the Seattle Seahawks next Sunday.
