Dallas was having to deal with not having starting  running back Elliot, linebacker Sean Lee, kicker Dan Bailey, and offensive lineman Tyron Smith.  Dak Prescott felt Elliot and Smith's absence as they could not balance their offense and he was sacked eight times.  This loss dropped the Cowboys to (5-4) on the season and now are chasing the wild card spot as they are now three games back of the Philadelphia Eagles.  The Falcons on the other hand raise to (5-4) and are in the wild card hunt as well.  The key players of the game were 1) Adrian Clayborn (ATL DL) who had six sacks which set a franchise record, 2) Tevin Coleman (ATL RB) who had 83 yards and a touchdown on 20 carries, and 3) Jason Witten (DAL TE) who had seven receptions for 59 yards. ...

Cowboys Host Chiefs After Elliot Suspension Shake Up

Sunday afternoon the Dallas Cowboys hosted the Kansas City Chiefs in Arlington.  Ezekiel Elliot who was set to start his six game suspension this week, was granted a administrative stay Friday that would allow him to play temporarily. Dak Prescott still managed to steal the show as he led the Cowboys as they compiled 375 yards of offense on their way to a 28-17 victory.  The key players of the game were 1) Dak Prescott (DAL RB) who threw for 249 yards and two touchdowns along with a rushing touchdown, 2) Ezekiel Elliot (DAL RB) who rushed for 93 yards a touchdown and averaged over three yards a carry to help balance the Dallas offense,  and 3) Travis Kelce (KC TE) who had seven receptions for 73 yards and a score. With this win Dallas climbs to (5-3) on the season and slides Kansas City down to (6-3).  Dallas will move on to travel to Atlanta next Sunday to take on the Falcons, while the Chiefs will get the week off with their bye.
